Wamuu fights with wind itself. Like every Infinity boss he runs the 999,999,999 ATK sentinel, so his real damage scaling comes entirely from the crit boost and crit DMG resistance pair. At Hell tier those lock to 40968 crit and 34140 crit DMG — identical to the rest of the Infinity ladder — alongside the standard 10000 dmg_reduction and 20000 secondary defense profile.

Why it works
Wamuu reads as a Vampire/Pillar-Man tagged unit, so Hamon characters get the bonus modifier. Joseph also carries an innate dodge stack that interacts well with Wamuu's heavy wind hits.
Watch out
Atmospheric Rift is multi-hit. If you bring shield-based supports, make sure the shield stacks rather than refreshes, or Wamuu's third tick will delete it in one frame.
