Guide du reroll

Guide du reroll

Pourquoi la plupart des joueurs ne devraient pas reroll sur JoJo: Golden Spirit, et comment planifier un premier compte autour du pity de la bannière Standard.

What you’re rerolling for

For a fresh account, the cleanest target is the Character Recruitment pool. It’s permanent, every SSR on it is keepable long-term, and it feeds the same selector milestones described below. Limited or Featured banners are worth ignoring for a reroll specifically — they rotate, so what you’d land on today may not be what’s up once you settle on an account.

The rates and the pity

The Character Recruitment pool, as it runs in-game:

  • SSR base rate: 2%
  • SR base rate: 35%
  • R base rate: 63%
  • SSR soft pity: a random SSR is guaranteed every 60 recruitments. The counter resets each time you land any SSR, rolled or from pity.
  • Duplicates convert into shards for that character.

On top of that 60-pull guarantee, the pool has two selectable-SSR milestones — 180 pulls and 300 pulls — each letting you pick one SSR from the pool yourself, independent of (and stacking with) the every-60-pulls guarantee. A fully-pulled account at 300 recruitments walks away with several random SSRs plus two of your own choosing. The full current roster is on the banner page itself.

Don’t forget the Ability pool

A character’s kit is split between the unit itself and the Ability shards that unlock and level their signature moves. Pulling the character on Character Recruitment gets you the unit; pulling on Ability Recruitment gets you the shards that make the kit actually work.

Ability Recruitment runs the same headline rates and the same 60-pull SSR soft pity, with one difference: a wishlist mechanic where you pre-select SSR abilities before pulling, boosting the SSR rate toward your picks. Its own selector lands at 150 pulls.

Treat the two pools as a pair — pulling a character without their ability shards leaves part of their kit locked, and vice versa.

Should you reroll?

Generally no. A single copy of an SSR is the start of that character’s investment, not the finish line — duplicates and a built-out Ability tree separate a working SSR from a top-end one, and both take real time to stack regardless of which account you’re on. Hopping through throwaway accounts to fish for one specific SSR rarely pays back the time once you actually settle in and start pushing a roster.

Guest accounts exist, so you can try a fresh session without burning an email — but the real question isn’t “did I land an SSR?”, it’s “is this an account I’d actually keep pushing?”. For most players the honest answer is to stay on the first real account and plan around the selectors instead.

What to actually do

  1. Get into the game — see How to Download.
  2. Clear the opening content until you have Astrogems for a meaningful pull session on Character Recruitment.
  3. Plan toward the selectors: the 60-pull guarantee, then the 180-pull selector, then the 300-pull selector. See Pity Strategy for the full spending order.
  4. Set your wishlist on Ability Recruitment around the characters you actually pulled.
