Risotto generates “Iron Caltrops” in the area with the most enemies.
Risotto Nero
The weekly endgame raid from Vento Aureo. It scales across 5 difficulties, from Normal up to Hell, and acts 5 times per cycle at the hardest setting.
Vento Aureo assassin. He stealths and takes -80% damage from ranged attacks while stealthed — Ranged-class carries are the worst possible pick.
Putting a Ranged-class carry in the top-DPS slot. Mista, Hol Horse, Sale, F.F., Caesar all eat the 80% reduction for most of the fight.
How to beat Risotto Nero
Melee burst is the only damage profile that bypasses his stealth ranged DR. Bruno, Diavolo's damage Ult, Giorno's damage build, Prosciutto all hit at full power through the stealth. After a Stance break, his ranged DR is nullified for 10 seconds — that's the only window where Ranged kits actually contribute, so save their Ults for then. He teleports every 30 seconds, so time burst BETWEEN teleports for full hit confirmation.
Damage levers
Infinity Bosses have infinite HP — the only thing that matters is how much damage you can squeeze out. These are the levers that scale damage in this specific fight.
- Melee carries — Bruno, Diavolo B, Giorno A, Prosciutto bypass the 80% ranged DR entirely.
- Stance break window — ranged DR drops to 0 for 10s; save ranged Ults for this slot.
Boss skills
4 skills. Every description below is the in-game skill text exactly as the game presents it — no paraphrasing, no fan summaries.
Risotto Nero enters stealth, reducing damage taken from ranged attacks by 80%.
When Risotto's Energy is maxed, he hurls 13 throwing daggers towards the enemy with the highest HP, each dealing damage equal to 300% of Attack.
Every 30 seconds, Risotto moves to a position symmetrical to his current location. When Risotto's Stance Bar depletes, he becomes stunned for 10 seconds, during which all his movement actions are skipped. In addition, Risotto's damage resistance against ranged attacks is nullified during this period.
⚠ Don't bring
- Ranged-class top DPS — Mista, Hol Horse, Sale, F.F., Caesar all eat the 80% reduction.
- Ulting on the 30-second beat — that's right on his teleport. Burst between teleports.

Boss numbers explained
Risotto Nero's combat stats at Hell, the top difficulty. Each card says what the number does and whether it's unusual for an Infinity Boss — so you can see at a glance what makes this fight different.
How the difficulties scale
Climbing from Normal to Hell only grows two things: Crit Resistance (how hard it is for YOU to crit the boss) and Crit Damage (its own crit multiplier). Defense, attack pattern and speed never change. So a higher tier is the same fight where your crit chance suffers more — pick the highest row your team can survive.
| Tier | Difficulty | Crit Resistance | ↗ | Crit Damage | ↗ | Attacks |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| T1 | Normal | 8,491 | 2,830 | 5 | ||
| T2 | Advanced | 16,892 | 10,076 | 5 | ||
| T3 | Difficult | 16,892 | 19,708 | 5 | ||
| T4 | Nightmare | 31,140 | 31,140 | 5 | ||
| T5 | Hell | 40,968 | 34,140 | 5 |
