Extreme Trial

Épreuve Extrême — the key-gated dungeon with a solo and a team version.

Extreme Trial is a tiered dungeon you enter with an Extreme Trial Key. Without a key you can't open a run, so the mode is naturally rate-limited — you clear it when you have keys to spend, not on a fixed daily cadence. It comes in two flavors that share the same tier ladder and rewards structure.

The two modes

  • Extreme Trial — the solo version. Bring your own team and clear the tier on your own.
  • Extreme Trial – Team — the multiplayer version. Same tiers, same key economy, but you run it as a group.

Each tier also splits into Normal and Hard. Normal pays out the baseline rewards; Hard pushes the enemy stats and the entry requirement higher in exchange for a richer drop table.

Tier ladder

Tiers are gated by your Account Level. You unlock access to the next tier the level it lists below — your team still has to actually clear the fight to claim the rewards.

The Entrance Exam Leaderboard

Extreme Trial scores feed into the Entrance Exam Leaderboard — a ranked list of the best clears across the playerbase. Pushing the leaderboard is endgame content; it's where players compare team-building once they've cleared the highest tier on Hard. Most players will treat the leaderboard as optional and focus on consistent clears for the rewards first.

How to play it well

  • Don't hoard keys. The keys are the bottleneck. If you have keys to spend, the run pays out — sitting on a stack of keys is the same as skipping the rewards.
  • Push to your real ceiling, not past it. A Hard clear of a tier you handle cleanly is worth more than a failed attempt on the next tier up.
  • Team mode for the rougher tiers. Extreme Trial – Team lets a guild or friends group split the difficulty if a tier wall is blocking you solo.
